Is this the dog, we have taken him home as he was nearly run over twice outside Carillo Bar! He had some nylon rope around his neck. Will contact some of the re homing sites tomorrow and give him a bath and tick and flea treatment. My daughter has named him Jasper. To put your mind at rest he is safe now.

There has been a stray dog in the Almanzora village/rambla area for the past three days.

It is young (perhaps 7 months?), medium to small,  white with black patches, and rough haired -  the appearance of a  terrier-cross. The tail is not docked. He/she wears a collar, and is in reasonably good condition - not underweight, shows no signs of fleas etc.

The dog is people-friendly, quite playful, and has followed various neighbours along the street, looking for attention.

It appears to be sleeping in the culvert, and we are giving it food and water.

We cannot take it in to our household as we have three very protective dogs.

Has anyone lost such a young dog, or could someone offer it a home, albeit temporary?
