Hahahahahahaha
My 2 legs showed me the pictures, very silly.
I think baiting sounds good fun, Cara and Denz, do you get treats afterwards?
I have been to the Doggie Doctor before, I don't remember any treats.
Just the distinct feeling that there was more fresh air than there used to be between my back legs!!!!!!

My two legs reckon the boars have moved on cos there has been a distinct lack of poo with figgy dressing this last week.

My SF treated me to a nice new extender lead this week.
It's a posh German made one.
We've gone thro 3 from the Chinese shop in as many months.
So she thought she would splash out.
HF 2 Legs was chanting the Yorkshire War Cry of "HOW MUCH???????"
SF told him to have a blood pressure tablet and be quiet.

So this new lead is 7 metres long and every 5 mins when we are out walking, I hear the call of "Billy, Billy come", and low and behold there is a tiny morsel waiting for me, when I run back to one of my 2 legs.

Practise practise practise!
Although there won't be any practise this week, cos I'm at staying with Pat 2 legs, and loads and loads of other 4 legs.
I've been before, its great fun, she has a massive compound, and as long as all the 4 legs get on, she lets us all out at once, and we can run and run.
My 2 legs will be back in 6 sleeps, they have gone gadding off somewhere.
I know that Brisha's 2 legs Pete was going to take her to Christines class on Sunday.
So I will have to wait for the gossip to pass onto you all.
I do hope everyone was good.

Christine told us last week about the Walk for Life and the Dog Show afterwards, at the end of the month
That sounds fun.
I hope lots of 2 and 4 legs go to support it.

Be kind to each other

Hola Cara and Denz,

I took your advice on the blue balls, about not having too many.
I've been off finding other stuff to try, but it seems to cause problems.
Not for me you understand, but my 2 legs.
First one, was something else hanging from a tree in the rambla.
These were little juicy green balls hanging in a bunch.
I jumped up and grabbed some, cos I'm really good at bouncy jumps.
Well my SF 2 legs went mental and took em off me, said something about 'em being poison for dogs.
Pity, cos they were really tasty.
So I went off, and looked for something else.
What a find.
Wild boar poo full of figs, amazing stuff.
I'd just got a really big piece between my teeth, and she kicked off again, BIG STYLE.
She had one hand in my mouth, and was batting my nose with the other calling me a "dirty ........"
Just insert anything there, cos she used loads of words that I'd never heard before!!

There were lots of new words too on Sunday morning.
I was a bit giddy, Teacher Christine said wilful, whatever that is.
My 2 legs said I needed to take a lesson from Shaun.
He is a black curly haired retriever, and he is really laid back.
My 2 legs said she thinks he has a spliff for breakfast.
Are they tasty?

Well I sort of did everything at the class, including being 'bait' for Brisha in the tunnel.
Christine sent me through, hoping that Brisha would follow me, but all she wanted to do was get the treats from her 2 legs, Pete, without going in the tunnel.

Anyway we got to the end of the class, and I was still being giddy/wilful.
I was tied to the chainlink fence by my lead, like all the other dogs, while the 2 legs packed away the kit for Christine.
I'm not sure what happened, but I realised that with all my Tigger jumping, I didn't have my lead on any more.

The gate to the tennis court was open, so I thought that I would go and have a look around Arboleas.
My 2 legs came running after me, which was great fun, we chased about for ages.
Then Christine joined in, chasing my 2 legs shouting,
"Don't run after him"

So, I'm in front, then my two legs, then Christine.
There was loads to smell at, I didn't know where to go next, it was ace.
My 2 legs was trying not to run, cos Christine was shouting at her, and she was shouting to me to 'come' and was waving a chew around.
Christine then was shouting "Be more assertive, no no no not like that, dont shout"

My 2 legs was looking a bit red faced, and stressed, and was out of breath, doing her no running walk.
So I decided to sit and wait for her and Christine.
They weren't happy.

Apparently I'm the naughtiest dog in the whole of the Almanzora Valley

We have lots of homework to do from my doggy class.

Gets better each week, I might have to visit the tennis courts and see this for myself.

Hola Denz and Cara,

Have you had a busy week?
I have, I made two discoveries this week.
First one is the cold box inside the 2 leg's big kennel with the door.
I don't like going into the big kennel, it's too scary.
I like my small one outside with the soft bedding inside it.
One day this week I decided I wanted to see what it was like inside the big kennel where my 2 legs live.
So I poppped in for a minute.
AMAZING.........they have a box on the wall that makes the house cold.
It's near the door, so I sat underneath it.
I soooooooooo need one of these in my kennel.
Anyway my smooth face 2 legs said she was going to shut the door to make the cold box work properly.
I wasn't happy about this, but the cold air was great.
I stayed in for about an hour and cooled down before going to sit outside again in the shade.

My second discovery was via one of the Spanish 2 legs that visits. My two legs call him Antonio.
He had with him a small dark blue ball. He threw it for me to catch.
I have only just learned that doing that, is fun.
Before I decided to live here with these 2 legs, other ones used to throw things at me so I would go away.
I caught the small dark blue ball, and bit it. I thought it would be a bouncy one.
It wasn't, as I bit into it, loads of sweet squishy stuff wrapped around my tongue.
While I enjoyed it, my smooth faced 2 legs was shouting at Antonio about clearing up after me the following day. He was laughing.
There are loads of trees on my walks with these balls on them, and they are on the floor too.
I now love figs.

2 legs wouldn't let me have one yesterday, she said she wasn't cleaning fig poo off the tennis court.
To be honest I don't think anyone would have noticed anyway cos they were all busy saying hello to the new kid on the block.
Max is a 16 week old Rotti pup.
Brisha and me went to say hello, I think he was a bit overwhelmed by all of us.
He did ok for a not so little pup.
Everytime he managed to do something all the 2 legs went "Awwwwwwwwwwww".
Poor Christine must have sore knees this afternoon, cos she was crawling about on the tennis court encouraging him.

We did a new thing today.
Everyone stood in a line, 2 legs stood up, dogs sat or down.
One at a time we had to weave in and out of everyone else.
We had to do it nicely, without stopping to jump about and say hello, and deffo no bum sniffing.
Christine said we did good.
The agility bit was next, I'm still not sure about that see saw thing.
Brisha is just a show off now on that.
After we were supposed to go thro the tunnel.
No chance.
Christine threw treats in the tunnel.
NOPE, I don't think so.
She then appeared with a little short tunnel, it wasn't much longer than me, so I went through that one, and got loads of treats.
Brisha still didn't want to play.
Everyone was cooing and arhhhhhing over Max, so I decided I'd better do something really good, so they would notice me too.
I WENT THROUGH THE BIG SCARY BLACK TUNNEL.....................TWICE
My 2 legs was really happy and jumped up and down.
Strange creature.

I'm off fig hunting now
Love from Billy xxx

Ps Forgot the Christine Quote Of The Week
One of the other 2 legs said his dog has the attention span of a gnat.
Christine replied, "And so has his owner"
Good lass she always sticks up for us dogs

Hiya Cara and Denz,
hope your holiday is going good.
I was a bit worried this morning at the tennis court, cos someone has told Christine, about us writing to each other on here, but she seemed ok, cept when she she was getting irrate with the 2 legs, and she muttered something like,
"No wonder it says on the Forum that I'm bossy"
All the 2 legs looked at the floor, and looked guilty!
We went thro our exercises, doing Heel, and everyone did ok at that, once Christine got the 2 legs to slacken the leads a bit.
Then we did, Sit, Stay, Come.
Mmmmmmmmmm first time around there were arms waving about with titbits, and unclear commands being given.
Christine sighed a lot.
Then on the next 2 goes everyone started to get the hang of it.
At this point I sussed which pocket my 2 legs had got my treats in.
I reasoned it would be easier to get them out of her shorts pocket, without doing anything for them, cutting out the middle bit, if you get my drift.
I'd just got my nose into her pocket, when Christine appeared at the side of me and VERY sternly said "NO".
My 2 legs laughed, but not for long, cos she got told off for being inconsistant with me!! Whatever that means!!
Next bit we did was the agility stuff. Now we aren't talking 8 foot walls here, like the profesionals, but we all went over the bar thing ok.
Next was the sea-saw thing.
Now my mate Brisha loves that, she was straight up and over that, I watched her do it cos I was next in line, its that rocky bit in the middle I'm not keen on, so I got off!
Then its the cones, thats nice and easy, and then the big circle thing, on the stand.
This week I decided to have a proper go at that, and jumped straight thro it, you'd have thought that I'd jumped the 8 foot wall.
I got loads of fuss and a big treat. I think I'll do that one again next week.
Its that tunnel thing, that I really hate.
Now if it was a rabbit or fox hole, I'd be straight in, but why do I need to run down a black plastic tunnel?
Come on, really!
Brisha agrees with me, she likes smelly rabbit holes in the rambla much better.
Anyway we all went around three times with varying degrees of success.
After that Christine made us all sit, on the line at the end of the tennis court, we were told not to move as she walked up and down the line very close to us all.
Guess what, not one single one of us jumped up at her to say hello, she was well chuffed with that.
I've just got time to tell you about my other adventure this week, my 2 legs went down the rambla to a friends house to get some wood.
They went on the big blue noisy machine, after a while I got fed up of running behind, and made my hairy face stop and let me get on with him.
I could see and smell LOADS sat up there.
My smooth face 2 legs called my hairy face, a big daft soft s#d and then she took a photo.

Be kind to each other

Hola Cara and Denz,
sorry I'm late writing to you.
We didn't have a class with Christine on Sunday cos Christine said lots of two legs were having a party, thats flipping inconsiderate init!!!
Either that or Christine wanted a week without me n Brisha!

My other news this week, is that all the two legs I know are really sad, and their eyes are leaking.
My two legs told me I can't see my friend Stanley any more. He was an old gent, who couldn't see very well, and he was a bit deaf,
When his lady two legs called him it was always a big effort for him to go anywhere or do anything, but he was always happy.
I was always told to play gently near him.
Stanleys lady two legs called mine very early on Monday morning, and my two legs ran down to the car and drove off.
My hairy faced one took me for my walk and made my breakfast, he did ok at that.
My lady two legs was away for ages, when she came back, she had Stanleys two legs with her, they both had leaky eyes.
They had brandy in their coffee, and kept saying things like, "It was for the best"
My two legs read this to me, and said this is where Stanley is now........................

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Author unknown...

Rainbow Bridge sounds lovely, I'm sure he will be ok there.
Rest in Peace Stanley

Lots of love from Billy

Hiya Denz ans Cara

Hope you have had a good week, and that you are keeping cool.

It got very warm on the tennis court this morning, at Christines class.
Me and my two legs went with Brisha and her two legs.

Her foot is better now. She went to the vet for an injection.
She was so please to be at class again, she barked at everyone when we first arrived.
That got a frown from Christine, and Uncle Pete had to walk her around away from the rest of us 'til she calmed down.
First we did heel work, Christine said I was much improved.
I hope she keeps saying that cos my two legs gave me a piece of cooked liver for that one.
Good result.
Brisha was good too, and then she was really showing off on the agility stuff.
she did the seesaw and everything.
I did it too, after I smelt the liver at the half way point.
Im not too keen on the going down bit tho'.
There were a few new faces in the class, which took the pressure off Brisha n me.

We did STAY and COME, good result there AND more liver.
Then it was the turn of one of the newbies, she was a really big dog, and I think she had had enough of being told to sit, down, wait, stay and come.
So when her two legs let go of her lead she did a runner of the tennis court thro the gate, and went to find her other two legs that was waiting in the carpark.

My two legs said a really rude word, looked and me and said, "Glad thats not you boy"
Her and Brisha's two legs laughed.
If you've had enough, you've had enough!!
I'm glad the air conditioning was on in the car coming home

Keep cool amigos

Hola Amigos,

Hope you are drinking plenty of water in this heat.
Bad news I'm afraid, my friend Brisha has hurt her foot, so no lessons with Christine this morning.
My two legs decided that I needed more 'socialising'.
I can't understand why, cos I'm really sociable, I jump up at everyone, and chase everything!

We went to the carboot at Baza.
My smooth faced two legs, kept growling 'NO' at me all the way around, I was only wanting to say hello to everyone, and there were lots of people there.
My other two legs the one with the hairy face, bent down and said to me, 'Get used to it lad, I had to, she says it a lot'
He got a good a slap for that!

The man at the pie and quiche stall was very nice, and while the hairy faced one was buying pies for his lunch, a bowl of water appeared.

I must have said hello to loads of people, cos I was very tired when I got back into the car.
My teddy was in my cage, so we both had a snooze on the way home.
I'm too hot to type anymore.
I'll let you know how Brisha is later in the week.
She stood on something sharp in the rambla

A quick Sunday morning update.
We've been to see Christine again.

Quote of the day was 'keep your dog under control, and DON'T laugh about it'
That wasn't a good thing to say to mum and Uncle Pete

Mister Tetley, mum said she could have done with going to the local bar, even tho' is was only 10 in the morning!!

Denz and Cara, thank you for your advice, I'll make sure mum does her homework, and I'll pass the info onto Breesha, so she makes sure Uncle Pete does his too.
Did you manage to get Mister Hogs to heel?
I took my 2 legs out this morning but she just kept wandering off, talking to all the locals we met in the rambla.
I'll take her out again later when it's cooled off a bit, and try again.

Don't want to be in trouble on Sunday morning

Hola my name is Billy.

This morning with my new friends from Cela, Breesha and Uncle Pete, me and mum went to a doggy training class.
I don't know why is was called dog training, cos me and Breesha played about all morning and Uncle Pete and mum got told off !!!
Uncle Pete said at least Breesha wasn't the naughtiest dog there.
I don't know what he meant cos all the other dogs were really good!!!

Thank you Christine, see you next week :wave
