Dont use the idiots in Gonar. After 3 attempts of repair the owners got the ladders out and did it themselves.  :bravo_2:

Wise to be cautious of crooks.

Still living the dream after 20 years

Just a thought, parts of our roof are very old and as such it has been basically impossible to stop leaks.  Moreover, the sparrows and starlings have been breading like rabbits in the roof and despite attempts to block their access they always manage to find a way in.  Ultimately we need a new roof but that is going to cost a lot so last week we had a company come in and spray the roof with polyurethane foam and then coat this with a special membrane.  The work was done on Monday morning just before the rain started.  There has been not even the slightest hint of dampness , the birds have gone, the roof can now be walked on and even looks better and we will have improved insulation.  Cost €22 per M2 exc IVA.  work guaranteed for 10 years.

Anyone know of a roofer who won't rip me off! The recent downpour has exposed a few leaks! Thank you.
