fruit trees

It sounds as though they were over -ripe. I have to pick mine just after they go yellow.

Up until this last week our Apricot tree was full of fruit, they have started to fall off and ever one is soggy and full of flies.
We have watered and maintained it, we where looking forward to own grow fruit  ???? Help please *&"
