I think Danny and Graham are from two different worlds Tetley. It's like comparing Gary Moore and Ron Wood. Rhythmically speaking there's loads to learn from him though.

Yes there is certainly plenty to learn  :)
Analogue mechanically  trained 1970,s Fitter  dear living  in a gone digital/tecno mad O Dearie me world......thankfully left behind with it all ,enjoying the bliss of NO phones ,  apps and  shortage of the intellectual, wile still managing to hone underachievement on the day to day in the sun  lol

This was back in our younger days, and I was a crap singer,as  I am now. I'm not in these clips by the way.

Graham has written some great songs in his life.  Also a good singer and obviously can play the guitar quite well and also the piano.

Old schoolmate of mine Gary Brewer and lovely girl Alison Moyet back in the day.
She was very naive and unsure of how to perform to start with ,but obviously soon  got much better .

We didnt mind the comment,we used to get,......you carnt sing and your solos are crap....,so we classed the not making musical sence as a bonus ,ie at least he was making somthing musical  ;)

That video from Tetley with Graham and Danny was the first time I had met up with Graham for over 20 years as he had only been back to U.K. twice in that period.

Also first time I saw Danny play and seen him and his great band Adelante many times now when they are playing in Mojacar area.

That gig in Albox didn't start till midnight and finished about 5.30 a.m. and Graham had a few drinks down him by the time they finished and it amazed me how good his playing was even at the end.
Normally I can remember him as a nice guy who wouldn't say anything out of turn.    The demon drink can change some folk when they have too much.

Luckily ,last Sunday he was more sober than me, as I was staying overnight in Mojacar and they had about a 4-5 hour drive to Gandia,  and two of the guys were working the next day.

Graham also writes some great songs and this is a fave of mine. I took 4 videos last Sunday and on my pc they pop up one after the other on youtube. You may or may not have seen them.  :drinks:

Brilliant guitarist, especially on the tele. Excellent mix of rhythm and skill. I only know one guitarist in the area who is as good on the tele and he's now changed to strat :(

An old mate of mine from S.W. London who now lives in Spain  in Gandia,  Valencia way.

Comes down this way about once a year maybe.

Managed to see him play for first time in a couple of years and it was a great gig at El Patio 2000 in Mojacar.

This is one of the clips I took.
