Plum Tree.

Before you resort to digging up, and burning your tree, it's worth googling   " amber liquid on my plum tree"
, as there are a lot of different reasons for this happening, and it could be easily cureable, sometimes, if the tree is healthy, it may even clear itself up. So it's worth checking things out first.
If your not meant to have midnight snacks, why do they put a light in fridges?

Hi sounds like Honey Fungus, no real answer as tree will eventually die,note that the spores can infect other trees.
We had 2 plums, apricots and nectarines die from this. Best to get rid of any branches etc by burning ( at the right time of year) or take to the tip

We have this on our apricot if we have to prune damaged branches when the sap is rising.

Whinging old git

  I have a plum tree in my garden, its around 3yrs old, I have noticed over the last year a amber like resin on a couple of branches. Is this normal, any info would be great thanks.
