I,m a bit confused , are the seller and the previous owner different people,  whose name are the vehicle docs in? You should never buy a vehicle in this country without going to a gestoria or to traffico themselves before handing over the cash, you may have no option but to scrap the car but I hope you find a solution.

i recently purchased a vehicle, a non runner which we got running and had a nice paint job and a new itv, the seller was suppose transfer the papers, i now find the seller didnt and the car is on the sorn register or the spanish equivilant, the seller has left the country and the previous owner having written to her dose not respond, it was my insurance company pointed out that there was a fine of 500 euros because it was seen on the road, Help what can i do v(
