Hi,
started off cloudy, but by late morning we had blue skies and we had lunch outside.
20 degrees and no breeze. Can't be bad.

The usual at this time of the year Lizzie, cool mornings and nights but the daytime is lovely.

Oh lovely, we have never been to Sri Lanka so will be interested to hear what you think of it.

Mmm, I didn't want to mention the WFA 😂😂😂😂

Buenas Dias mis amigos.

Woke up to a blanket of snow and it is snowing hard. About four inches so far. Birmingham airport closed.

Ventured out with our little Westie, managed 300 yards then he turned round and pulled us back home. Sensible dog !
He is sitting on the sofa looking out to the front garden and making a few grumbling noises as more snow drifts across
the window. Bless im  93

If you are in Blighty, stay safe.

Rather nice here. Temp is 19C in the shade, and there's a warm breeze which makes for a great drying day, hence 2 lines of washing done and the third one out now! All of you in the snow and ice, stay safe and warm and drive with care!

Thanks Karen.

The nice thing about the snow is that four or five  of the  neighbours children were building snowmen and having snowball fights for an hour this morning. It was lovely to see their excitement and sense of fun. I took them out some chocolates and the youngest, about four, said " Father Christmas's reindeer live in the snow, and they will all be here soon. "
Ah bless ! Brought back happy memories !  72

You stay in the sun and enjoy yourself Webe.  72

Freezing here, looks like another heavy frost.

Finished me Crimbo shopping this morning. Struggled to carry home a bag full of port, brandy, gin n vodka. Was exhausted when I got home so my old boy poured me a glass of port " for medicinal purposes" .  :hee20hee20hee:l

Cold, wet and miserable here. But the snow and ice have disappeared.

Taking the grand-daughters ice-skating soon. A local garden centre organises  a rink each Christmas. The grannies gossip and sip hot chocolate while the kids have fun.
