Bark Protectors for Trees

I would have thought you'd get them in most agricultural suppliers as the are used quite extensively around here with new trees.

We have just bought a jacaranda and would like to save it from the dire fate of a previous one when its bark was nibbled away by rabbits by putting one of those curly spirally plastic protectors round it at the bottom.  Has anyone got one or knows a shop that sells them, please?
