Try the animal feed stores.  There's one adjacent the rambla by the top bridge (across the bridge from La Parilla) or at the start of the road to the monastery just down the road from the Health Centre.  If all fails, ring Erika at the Riding Centre.

Yes we did but as he hasn't any work there are no shavings, just wondered if anyone knew where to buy it.
