Do you remember when you lived in the UK we had draught excluders at the bottom of doors
I dont see why it shouldn't work over here to keep these insects out or simply close the gap with free newspapers

If these are rather big and hairy they are called scalopendras, and they are very, very nasty so please be careful.  I agree, draught excluders could work, but there might be something you could put by the step, although having pets that might not work.  Take care.

Maton - the spray cannister with the ORANGE lid which says "una sola aplicacion".  Brilliant stuff.  I spray all the entrances that they can walk through and they don't get very far believe me.  I use it once a year and rarely get any creepy crawlies in the house now.  There are other types of Maton but you need the orange top one - Lepanto 5.50.  Pet friendly.

Definately the orange top Maton. It kills all crawling bugs that walk over it, even the big the centipedes won't get 3feet past the stuff once they walk through it, and you only need to apply it once a year.

If your not meant to have midnight snacks, why do they put a light in fridges?

Agree its called Maton gold and I spray the perimetre of the home and patio once a week and so far has kept all the annoying little pests away, including the ants.
