PSOE responded to the statements of the Mayor of Arboleas in relation to the situation of the municipality.

First, as spokesman of the PSOE in Arboleas, and as the Mayor in the last two years of the previous Parliament, express my surprise at the continued allegations that we are receiving from the current government team, on our management and achievements, which appear to be nonexistent for the current government. When in this half year they have not developed any of the proposed projects, but the continuity of that we left in place (GuarderĂa, Morgue, La Cinta Bridge, historic renovation, ..., and curiously paralyzed the beginning of long-awaited project for the people of Arboleas, as is the health center). However, the trend that has continued until now has been criticism of the previous government team for the absence of initiatives.  And this line of conduct, to the point where we are, there has already been enough; the people of Arboleas deserve that  their rulers  show signs of practicality and not add in the decline of constant criticism. Work by and for the people and put aside grudges that go nowhere because we have not been aware of various initiatives such as, promotion of quality employment, business development, service sector, commerce and tourism.

On the other hand, to think that urbanism is the main problem of our town is falling back into the same error into which he (the Mayor) fell in 2000 because do not forget that the real estate boom began then with the current Mayor.

We understand that the Mayor has a priority for urban planning. For which reason we do not understand his stubborn attitude in not recognizing the advances that have occurred in this area in recent years so that it would be a slight review of progress in these two years.

During the time that Angel Garcia succeeded to Mayor, which took effect by decree 11/2008 of the Government of Andalusia, whose main objective is the partial adaptation of the general plans of urban planning and municipal planning subsidiary rules on the determination of the LOUA (Law 7 / 2002). So the first task was the modification of planning for adaptation to the general plan to LOUA subsidiary regulations, processing was finally approved in April 2009, following the development of the document all the guidelines set out by the Junta de Andalusia. Upon approval of this planning instrument, could undertake the legalization of houses outside organization to which innovations are made to the general plan (procedure requiring prior approval of adaptation of the Plan). Also following the recommendations of the Department of Public Works.

With these assumptions and lines of action, had made great progress, with most essential reports favorable to our work. These are objective and verifiable. By the new administration, they received the recommendation from the Provincial Commission of Urban Planning to continue working in the same manner (Report: September 21, 2011. Page. 6): from ... to produce a document that encompasses all previous proposals ... (made by the previous government team, that is). Something that until now they have ignored, paralyzing all initiative on housing outside management. But our Mayor on his arrival raised a complete break with the previous model and start a new trajectory, of which we wait to see the results.

To say that you do not know what has been done in recent years, when the current Mayor was part of the Pleno, and attended to all these advances, it is nothing short of an atrocity. As is, that not a single euro invested in infrastructure, as all works have led to several million Euros for our development, and which we started and which are ongoing today.

Another measure that I launched from the PSOE was land registry of all those homes that were not, and could provide significant revenue to the municipality and all through a collaboration agreement with the Directorate General of Land Registry (2010). Well, the new Mayor breaks this agreement and decides to do the work "their way" with that he has achieved the suspension of a measure that was working, and now can not get the land registry to speed up its new proposals. According to information provided by him in the last plenary session. Another new stay to previous work.

So our recommendations to the current Mayor are to follow lines that are advice from other governments and that will not break the agreements that we were working on, rather than only wanting to discredit the former Mayor. To abandon the position of continued confrontation with the PSOE, that now you have some responsibilities and commitments to fulfill, not resolved implying that our situation is disastrous, but by working and achieving objectives and verifiable progress. It is not enough to ask for goodwill, but to get in the right lane to receive it.

And finally, our economic situation is disasterous as Mr. Garcia said, it is much better than many villages in our area, that is not the problem, but the lack of income to meet the current expenditure, this hard work is the responsibility of the current government team, which like the rest of the people of Arboleas, hope successfully pass for the good of all.
