ENVIRONMENT
MANAGEMENT  REPORT OF THE PSOE. 2007-2011

During these past four years we have worked especially for our people and our environment to be healthier, more comfortable and enjoy more green areas and contribute to environmental sustainability and energy conservation. In this sense we have taken the following actions:

PARK AND GARDENS:

Construction of a playground in La Cinta.

Construction of a playground in Venta Mateo,  around the Center of Interpretation (140,000 €).

Construction of the playground and infant area, "Mayor Francisco Perez Miras" (420,000 €).

Recreation area near the Old Bridge along the side of the Río del Almanzora
A suitable environment for the multiple service buildiing.

Various parks, gardens and green areas throughout the various neighbourhoods

Cleaning up of the río del Almanzora water courses, Arroyo Aceituno and Rambla de la Cinta. Debris removal and recovery of degraded areas.

Establishment of collection points for waste collection and household goods for further recycling processes.

Reforestation of degraded areas. Planting of trees.


CO2 EMISSIONS REDUCTION. ENERGY SAVING. With the change to entire street lighting (1,300streetlights), the low-power lamps have enabled us to help save energy and reduce CO2 emissions by 45%. Saving costs and contributing to sustainable development. (40,000 €).

Programs and conferences on the environment "Arboleas Verde." For the dissemination and understanding of our environment. Guided tours to see flora, fauna, water culture, sharing stories, ...

Project collection and waste treatment (sanitation) for all neighbourhoods and thevillage centre, submitted and approved by the Junta de Andalucía. Ministry of the Environment. With an amount of 5 million €. Approved and we are waiting to begin these works.

MEDIO AMBIENTE
INFORME DE GESTIÓN. PSOE. 2007-2011

Durante estos cuatro años se ha trabajado especialmente para que nuestro pueblo y nuestro entorno sea cada vez más saludable, más acogedor y disfrutemos de más áreas verdes y contribuyamos a la sostenibilidad del medio y por el ahorro energético. En este sentido se han realizado las siguientes actuaciones:

PARQUE Y JARDINES:

Construcción de un parque infantil en la Cinta.

Construcción de un parque de recreo en Venta Mateo, entorno al centro de interpretación (140.000€).

Construcción del parque de recreo e infantil  "Alcalde Francisco Pérez Miras"(420.000 €).

Parque de recreo Junto al puente Viejo y el Río Almanzora.

Adecuación del entorno de la Nave de Servicios Múltiples.

Diversos parques, jardines y adecuación de zonas verdes en las barriadas.

Limpieza de cauces del río Almanzora, Arroyo Aceituno y rambla de la Cinta. Eliminación de escombros y recuperación de áreas degradadas.

Creación de puntos limpios para la recogida de residuos y enseres para su posterior tratamiento.

Reforestación de áreas degradadas. Plantación de árboles.

REDUCCIÓN DE EMISIONES DE CO2. AHORRO ENERGÉTICO. Con el cambio en la totalidad del alumbrado público (1.300 puntos de luz), a lámparas de bajo consumo hemos conseguido contribuir al ahorro energético y la reducción de emisiones de CO2 en un 45 %. Ahorrando costes y contribuyendo a un desarrollo sostenible. (40.000€).

Programas y jornadas anuales  sobre el medio ambiente "ARBOLEAS VERDE". Para la difusión y el conocimiento de nuestro entorno. Visitas guiadas para conocer flora, fauna, cultura del agua, reparto de plantas,...

PROYECTO  de recogida y tratamiento de residuos (saneamiento) para todas las barriadas y el núcleo, presentado y aprobado en la Junta de Andalucía. Consejería de Medio Ambiente.  Con un importe de 5 Millones de €. Aprobado y pendiente de empezar las obras.
