ANGEL GARCIA, candidate of the Socialist Party

If there are still doubts about who is the number one candidate in the PSOE, and to take steps in the passage of the continuous advances of our former colleague and now rival, Mr. Roger Done. It is therefore a personal way to clarify some situations that were personally explained at the meeting of March 22

IN THE FIRST PLACE, to talk about what he called judicial intervention of the Town Hall:

• In late 2009, there was a police visit to the village of Arboleas, to request  official documentation,from a  particular member of the Town Hall, actually the former secretary.
• The reason being a complaint about homes built by The Lakes Vega in LosCarrascos, in 2007, and have no license granted by the Governing Board, therefore being out of the ordination boundries.
• This documentation was required by staff on several occasions, and not sent on time.
• That action affected only the official documentation and its clearance.
• Other workers, politicians, and offices were not affected at all.

IN  SECOND PLACE, to speak of how this situation affects me as a Public Officer.

• In 2007,I was part of the Governing Board. I was not the Mayor and my jobs as a councilor were Tourism, Trade and Health not for any Urban  Planning .
• In 2009, I was elected Mayor, and one of my first decisions was to replace the then secretary, as he did not seem the right person for this job.
• Research that began in 2009 remains open and I continue to provide documents and testimony.
• I, as the current mayor  have an obligation to cooperate with the court, as I did when I was asked to participate.
• There has been no trial or no date set for it, as the information is still being gathered.
• And therefore, obviously nobody  has been charged nor one anyone accused, nor is there any legal reason for me not to be a candidate.

IN THIRD PLACE I am the candidate of the PSOE for Arboleas, because that is what my party decided in Arboleas, Almería and Seville, and I am officially elected.

With this clarification, I want to settle the artificial controversy with which Mr. Done and their environment intended to mislead and discredit continuously.

I understand that he and the PSA would rather not have me as a political rival, and their purposes would be closer without me. But they are not the ones taking these decisions, fortunately or managers to judge, since there is no reason why I should not stand as candidate, I am  a rival politician.

I hope that this clarification will terminate the  controversy and we begin to hear  proposals from these gentalmen, instead of so many insults. "Be a little more elegant."


That said, I reiterate that I am still available to any resident who wants to ask about this situation or any another, both the town, as myself in my candidacy, have been so far in every meeting we have had

ÁNGEL GARCÍA, CANDIDATO POR EL PSOE

Por si aún quedan dudas sobre quien es el número uno en la candidatura del PSOE, y para salir al paso de las continuas insinuaciones de nuestro anterior compañero y ahora contrincante, el sr Roger Done. Es por lo que de un modo personal pretendo aclararles algunas situaciones que ya en la reunión del 22 de Marzo  expliqué personalmente.

EN PRIMER LUGAR, hablamos de de lo que él llama intervención judicial del Ayuntamiento:

•   A finales de 2009, se produce una visita policial al Ayuntamiento de Arboleas, para solicitar documentación a un funcionario, en concreto al anterior secretario.
•   La razón es una denuncia sobre viviendas construidas por Lakes Vega en Los Carrascos, en 2007, y que no tienen licencia concedida por la Junta de Gobierno, por estar fuera de ordenación.
•   Esta documentación se le requirió al funcionario en repetidas ocasiones, y no la envió en los plazos previstos.
•   Esa actuación solo afectó a este funcionario y a la documentación de su despacho.
•   El resto de trabajadores, políticos, y despachos no se vieron afectados en nada.

EN SEGUNDO LUGAR hablare de cómo esa situación me afecta como cargo público.

•   En el año 2007, formaba parte de la Junta de Gobierno. No era el Alcalde, y mis concejalías eran las de Turismo, Comercio y Salud, para nada la de urbanismo.
•   En 2009, soy elegido Alcalde, y una de mis primeras decisiones es la de sustituir al entonces secretario, puesto que no me parecía la persona mas adecuada para este puesto de trabajo.
•   La investigación que se inicia en 2009 sigue abierta, se siguen aportando documentos y testimonios.
•   Yo, como actual alcalde tengo la obligación de colaborar con el juzgado, y así lo hice cuando se me pidió participar.
•   No se ha celebrado ningún juicio, ni hay fecha prevista para ello, porque se sigue recogiendo información.
•   Y por tanto, evidentemente no se ha juzgado a nadie, no hay nadie acusado, ni existe ninguna razón judicial para que yo no pueda ser candidato.

EN TERCER LUGAR yo soy el candidato del PSOE por Arboleas, porque así lo ha decidido mi partido en Arboleas, Almería y Sevilla, y lo soy de manera oficial.

Con esta aclaración quiero dejar zanjada la polémica artificial con la que el sr Done y su entorno pretenden confundir y desprestigiar continuamente.

Entiendo que él y los del psa hubiesen preferido  no tenerme como rival político, que sus propósitos estaban mas cerca sin mi. Pero ellos no son los que toman estas decisiones, ni por suerte los encargados de juzgar. Y como no hay motivo para que no sea candidato, me tendrán como rival político.

Espero que con esta aclaración se de por finalizada la polémica y empecemos a escuchar alguna propuesta por parte de estos señores, en lugar de tanto insulto. "Sean un poco mas elegantes".

Aclarado esto, reiterarles que sigo a la disposición de cualquier vecino que quiera preguntar por esta situación u otra, tanto del Ayuntamiento, como de mi candidatura, como ha sido hasta ahora en cada reunión que hemos tenido
