While it is a disgrace that any house built and bought in good faith should be subsequently determined to be 'illegal', there are some houses built in impossible places, like dry riverbeds. I think there was something of this in Cantoria?

Convicted under 319.2 of the Codigo Penal (Planning Crimes).
1 year in jail.
Fine of 6,570 euros each.
Ordered to demolish the homes at their own expense and to pay compensation to the homeowners.
Promoters are appealing.

Homeowners are aware and involved in the case so anyone who needs to know where the houses are already knows.

Whereabouts is this please and on what basis was the demolitin order granted?

Who were the developers?  How are they being punished?

A court in Almeria has convicted two developers of planning crimes and ordered the demolition of three British owned properties in the Orivique area of Cantoria.

It is understood that the developers will appeal this decision.
