From today (9/06/2014) ONLY bars paying for advertising can plug their entertainment events.  If Performers or other bars wish to promote their gigs then please get in touch with me first.

Following recent comments about advertising, recommendations etc, Admin are issuing the following guidelines for reference.  

What's on posts:
The current format is not being used and the rest of the section is being used by some establishments as a form of free self promotion.

Genuine recommendations by people commercially unconnected must fall within the forum guidelines - see below
Advertisements are welcomed by restaurants and entertainment establishments at the same rate as the commercial section these will be in the commercial section. But if they are running a special event it can be placed in this section.

This board IS NOT for the promotion or recommendation of restaurants and bars.

Recommendations:
Names and telephone numbers will NOT be allowed. This was being abused and taken advantage of. If someone is interested ask them to PM you.
Email addresses and website links will not be allowed for businesses local to Almanzora
Prices by PM (Private message) only.
Forum members with less than 20 posts will not be able to make recommendations. This does not include posts on the for sale and re-homing pets sections.

Charities:
Charities and bars holding charitable events can be publicised free of charge on the forum. These are limited to once a month unless otherwise agreed with the moderators.

These will apply across all sections of the forum and will be implemented from 10th July 1012:
