It says on your advert "Fit a 1.9 metre dish to combat the recent change over of channels to Astra 2F" I did not know they had changed or do you know something we dont!! Some say we may need a 2.3 metre dish??!!

Hi LouLou

Five
Channel four HD
BBC 2HD
4seven
Ch4 HD
5 USA
5*
5* +1
ITV Meridian North
ITV Anglia West
ITV Yorkshire East
ITV Granda HD
ITV Central Sothwest
ITV Yorkshire West +1
BBC Scotland HD
BBC Wales HD

These channels were changed over last November to Astra 2F resulting in loss of reception of these channels for many. Astra 2E is to be launched on  July19th (Failing any delay). It is greatly speculated what dish size will be required once Astra 2E is commisoned. My research/contacts within the industry lead me to the conclusion  that a 1.85 metre dish(1.95)will being required after this date.

Im sure you know your business however no one including yourself knew what would be needed before the original changeover . Speculations made at that time  from the professionals were all way off the mark so to fork out the cost of a new dish prematurely would in my opinion be foolish . There are still to many unknown factors unless your willing to guarantee that a 1.9mtr dish will be the correct size , large enough to continue to receive the channels lost but not larger than needed , not only for financial reasons but i know i dont want anything bigger than is absolutely necessary hanging off the side of my property .

Hi Apy2

Last year once Astra 2F was on station at 28.2 degrees east, test signals were transmitted prior to the aforementioned channels being switched over from Astra 2B. At this point these test signals were measured on several of my clients dishes. These dishes being of differing sizes and types. An assesment was made as to the minimum size of dish required to reliably pick up these test frequencies, this also was done In conjuction with results posted on forums by installers and enthuisasts throughout Spain and Europe.

Prior to these tests no Larger dishes were recommended nor installed.

Did a fantastic job putting some new aircon in for us.   Came when he said he would, did the job he said he would and product as good as he said it would be.  Again, first time we have used Colin and certainly won't be the last.  Thanks Colin.

Hi,

How much do you charge to service 4 small AC units?

I have just bought a house in the area of Los Carrascos and would just like to know they are all working 100% ok.

Hi All

Due to the inordinate amount of calls that I am currently receiving, because of the current extreme tempertures, I am struggling to both answer all calls and work my way through all the service visits. Some people may have experienced difficulty in contacting me. During this busy period the most effective form of contact is by email. Please drop me a line briefly detailing the issue or request. I will then contact you on my return from work.

Best Regards

Colin came out to us today. Wow what a difference! We learnt more from Colin about the air con  functions, capabilities in ten minutes than we have in eighteen months. Arrived on time, did a fab job.  Very impressed, he really is worth waiting for!

Thanks Colin

Big thanks to Colin.

After much debate Colin advised me on pool heating, fitted it prior to me coming out to Spain, came back the week of my arrival and talked through the system.

I would highly recommend Colin for his knowledge and expertise - even being in the uk,  Colin is happy to answer as many questions as you need and no hard sell, so if you want a John Lewis service I can highly reccomend Colin at Cool Solutions

David - March 2016. One happy customer

Service/upgrade your air-conditioning prior to the summer rush.

Due to the record temperatures of last summer, many air-conditioning installers were overwhelmed with the sheer volume of service calls. A waiting list of 7 days was typical.

Get your existing systems serviced early. A service will not only make your system work to its optimum, but possibly eliminate an untimely breakdown during the hotter months.

Many spare parts for older systems are now unavailable.
Systems using outdated R22 refrigerant cannot be recharged. Replace your existing system with a modern efficient inverter system. These are 45%-50% more efficient.

We can supply Mitsubishi, LG, Samsung and Kaysun (split and ducted systems).

Last year many distributers were completely out of stock by the middle of the summer. Book your installation early!

Call for advise, to book a service or for a no obligation quote.

Thanks so much Colin for all your help with trying to teach an old man (my husband) to set up a new tv which just didn't want to work for him.  It does help if you've got the lead in the right hole in the first place!  Very grateful indeed.
