Once again, The Incognito Singers opened their rehearsal room doors for what has become an annual event, to get us all in the mood for the festive season.  This year the Friends & Family event was a benefit performance for Walk for life Arboleas.  In a change from their normal tradition there was a nominal entrance charge of €2 per adult, all proceeds going to this local charity that helps people affected by cancer.

Peter Hands of The Incognito Singers said "Sadly, there are very few people who can say they do not know someone who has been struck down with this dreadful disease and the support this charity gives to sufferers and their families is second to none".  He also said they were always happy to perform for charities without any remuneration or expenses.

The event took place Wednesday 13th December at Hostal Rosaleda, Arboleas and with the entrance charge and incredible generosity of all those attending €210 was raised.

The Walk for Life team want to thank all the singers and organisers.  The performance was wonderful, and the selection of traditional music has got the festive season off to a flying start.
