Agree totally would never use these businesses and over the years there have been several

Im constantly amazed when i see posts on here from people who have a local business of one type
or another.
some posts have been unwelcome, unpopular and some even a bit distastefu with smart comments.
then when i ask for  advice on where to go for one service or another some of these people pm me with an offer of their services and having read their posts i wouldent let them inside the front gate.
why would any savvy business person put posts on a forum that might put potential customers off dealing with them.
just dont understand it .
