I have just started the AFO procedure under Oria Ayuntamiento and the tax on the valuation of the house, garage,pool and guest house by the the architect is 2.5 % as dictated by the town hall.

Yes Hogs, we intend to do that but were still wondering about the 1%.

We are set to start the procedure to get our AFO next month in Albox. When we have done that and had the two way toilet system installed we have to then get the Escritura for the house ( we already have it for the land ).
As we understand it we have to pay a percentage of the house valuation which we know used to be 1% but have got an idea that it has gone up, does anyone know if it has and if so by how much? We would also be sorting out a solicitor to do the work for us and wonder if anyone has a recommendation for one who is both efficient and reasonably priced. We have been bit by one particular lawyer in Albox and do not want to be bitten twice. Perhaps there is some of you out there that have gone through this procedure.
We would have liked Amanda to do the work for us but not sure if she can do that or not.
