I think so Andy.  Thanks.  I now need to lie down in a darkened room......

As Kodi is an open source program. I can be copied and altered by anyone who has the skills or indeed wants to. A Kodi "fork" is just an adaptation of the original program, that whilst recognising the original, has been amended in some way.
Does that help????

OK, I'll ask then.  What's a "fork" please?

Its like an arm on the main body.  :08:

Lovely thanks very much Andy.

What is FTMC?

oldbirchy

UK TV now is a separate APK that can be started through Kodi but doesn't need to be. The latest version is 7.8.
You don't need bluesticks. That is for PC's. It an android emulator. Latest version of Kodi is 17.4 but it won't run on less than android 5. If you have 4.4. Best is FTMC.

Hello peeps,

struggling with my Minix box trying to watch TV via UKTVnowfirestick (I have updated), questions are should I be loading it via Bluestacks? Currently trying to load through Kodi works for a while then not, very on and off.

What is the current version of Kodi that is the most stable to use?

thanks in advance,
Karen
