As published by Albox Town Hall.....

Albox and the Comarca are on amber alert for big storms on Tuesday as well as on Wednesday. We publish a series of recommendations that are always advisable to follow when faced with heavy rain as forecast from midnight. In any emergency call 112.
- Avoid travel unless absolutely necessary during the storm.
- If there is no other alternative but to travel via public roads, stay away from ramblas, flood waters or areas that can be flooded and do not park in these areas. Travel via main roads and motorways, moderating your speed.
- If you have problems with visibility, stop signalling your position
- . Do not attempt to cross flooded area, either on foot or in a car; the force of the water can carry you away.
- Avoid the base of hills. You could be trapped by water falling from a height, which could also bring mud and the remains of trees and rocks.
If you are in a house or building:
- Do not remain in cellars or in lower levels.
- Don't leave anything outside. Collect furniture and objects that can be carried away by the water.
- Cover the cracks in the doors, windows and vents of your home, if you think it may be affected
- If water gets in, collect important documents, valuable objects, food, drinking water and above all, dangerous items and take them to higher protected levels.
- Disconnect electricity if the case of flooding.
