Bowling club de Zurgena 2017

Hi Everyone,
From the 5th of June we are starting our summer evening bowling on monday, Wednesday and Friday. Times are 5.30pm for a 6.00pm start.
We are running 2 inter club competitions over the summer too so all welcome to take part.
If you are looking for something to do on these warm summer nights and would like to join in with some fun and make new friends along the way please come along   
and have a go. You never know you might be a budding David Bryant.

We have had our first year as a growing club and in april we had our first AGM in which a new committee was appointed. We are now going forward to build on the success of last
year.


The Bowling Green is situated at the edge of the village of La Alfoquía adjacent to the Pool Bar and football pitch.


The construction of the bowling green itself was undertaken by the Ayuntamiento de Zurgena and the day to day running of the facility has been entrusted to the  "Bowling Club de Zurgena".


A strong membership base has already been established and the regular "Roll-Up" days on Monday, Wednesday and Friday are all very well attended. The bowling green is also open for casual practice on Thursday and Saturday mornings. All sessions run from 9.45am for a 10:00am start until 2:00pm.


On Thursday mornings we have free coaching so if you have never bowled before please come and try...


We are also looking for Junior members, to boost our existing junior members as we want to encourage the sport to younger people.


Besides it's core membership it is also possible to play the game on a casual basis with a nominal daily charge being applied. This applies equally to Roll-Up sessions and casual practice sessions where the only stipulation is the wearing of flat, soft soled shoes to protect the playing surface.
