The Genesis developer "Lambda" stopped developing it some time ago. If you like the look and feel of Genesis then you can install Specto fork. This is actually genesis updated by a polish developer called" Mr Know".
As said above, the update to Genesis is Exodus and was also written by " Lambda" but support and updates are now through the TV add-ons team. With Exodus you will need to set up a trakt TV account in order to save your favourites. This is dead easy and allows favourites to be synchronised across all your devices.
