They are around the new bridge, regularly flying from La Cueva to the old railway line which runs from the defunct information centre, just down from Coviran/Hostal Meson. They don't call 'cuckoo' though, they scream rather like a woodpecker's yaffle on amphetamine!

I've been trying to catch these for almost a month now; then two decided to perch just by the front of the house! Got this picture standing in our doorway.

Lovely birds but very noisy beggars...
