Interesting reply Roger.  Are you saying that Building Licences are still not available for works in Zurgena?

If so, there's plenty of people round Zurgena area who are going to get hauled through the mire when the drones come round checking on "illegal" building work.

Many thanks Roger for such an informative answer

Roger

I do not know where the story came from that you cannot have a pool built.
I think it came from some agents who confused Arboleas with Zurgena.

Provided the house is on urban land you can get a licence to build a pool.
You will need an architect project to submit to the Town Hall to obtain a building licence, which will be no problem.

You should use a registered SL company to build the pool, otherwise you will not be able to get an end of works certificate for the pool from the architect (provided the architect follows the law!)
Then the Town Hall will not be able to issue a Certificate of Utilisation which you will probably require if in the future you sell the house.

The Gardener

I believe you would need to ask the Town Hall.

Is it still ok to have a swimming pool built in the Arboleas area, heard it may be illegal this would obviously be subject to a building licence
