Might be worth posting this under general chatter!

I know we live in Spain - and it's well known for it's noise level (ie fiestas and bikes etc in towns) - but our friends live in a small village and every
day - from 9 a.m in the morning until early evening (usually only turned off when they watch the tv!!!).
They have approached this neighbour and asked if they can turn the noise down just a bit (90 decibells and above has been recorded) - but they
are so ignorant and just ignor our friends (and their other neighbours) and continue to have it on really loud.
Is there anything they can do???  They have approached their Town Hall - and they have not been able to offer any constructive advice.
They could stay indoors all the time to lessen the problem - but our friends enjoy sitting outside.  No-one minds the occasional party/music by the pool/
children playing in the pool etc.  But this goes on everyday!!!!  It is really upsetting for our friends - so I said I'd post this for them.
Any advice would be appreciated. :sun:
