Pickpockets

I have had the following report from out towards the coast.

The sun is sun is shining and the sky is blue .... summer is coming! A time when we are perhaps a little less vigilant and a little more carefree ..... but, beware!
There are reports in local Social Media that pickpockets are out about and seeking to remove purses, wallets and anything that they can sell on for cash, and it seems that the supermarkets are being targeted.
Be alert, be vigilant and keep your possessions close to you and protected when out and about ...... leaving a bag down to lift a cup of coffee to another table is enough time for the thieves and pickpockets to lift your possessions!
However, if you ever see anything suspicious, anyone acting suspiciously, anyone driving a car suspiciously, please contact the Policia Local (617 46 74 23 or 092) Guardia Civil (062 - ask for Almeria Region) and pass the information to ANNW for circulation!

If you are in a store or supermarket and witness or experience pickpocketing, inform the Store Manager and call the Policia Locale or Guardia Civil!
