APSA / IMPULSE great night

Have to agree it was an great night, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  The band, Impulse, were excellent - real live music with no backing track!

Thanks to APSA for organising such a super evening.

I performed locally for three and a half hours yesterday with no backing tracks purely live guitar. But sadly the economics of having a full band out here doesn't always work hence the reliance of many singers on backing tracks. :tiphat:

Thanks for the positive feedback......it was our first gig and it was so good to have a friendly, lively audience who were intent on having a good night.
Our next gig is in Kalevala on St Patrick's night...March 17th......tickets on sale now, but going fast !
10 euros for Irish Stew, a pint of Guinness / glass of wine, plus Impulse.......sounds like a bargain to me  :lol:

When you can persuade all the venues to pay the going rate for live music, not just a handful of them, only then will you see more of it.  Otherwise it will be largely confined to Charity nights and Jam sessions.

The APSA charity night at Maloan's in Albox was a great success. It attracted more visitors than New Year's Eve at the same venue.

The band - IMPULSE - gave it their all!

The visitors came with a great attitude - all determined to enjoy the night and help others to get the max out of the evening too.

The generosity of the audience was amazing supporting the raffle and auction to bring much needed funds to the APSA charity.

The APSA volunteers worked their socks off to make the event a great night for all and they succeeded.

Congratulations to all involved.
