A sincere thank you to everyone who shared in the Crib and Nativity service and also the Carols by Candlelight at Llanos del Peral. Rev Pauline Williams led the worship to a packed. Church. The carols and readings were interspersed with singing by the choir,  a soloist and a very funny sketch. This was followed by mulled wine mince pies and shortbread biscuits.
If you were not able to attend these services it is not too late. There is to be a service of lessons and Carols at Alhambra (Albox) this coming Sunday 20th Dec at 6pm

We would be delighted to see you at our weekly services on Sunday mornings at 11 am Llanos del Peral and wish you all a very happy Christmas and a healthy and peaceful New Year.

For any wanting to be a part of the traditional Christmas scene, the carol service at Aljambra, Albox at 6.00pm on Sunday 20th December is a must. The Service of Nine lessons and carols, will include opportunity for children to be a part of the creation of the nativity scene during the singing of such as "Once in Royal David's City", "While Shepherds watched their flocks by night" and "We three Kings", and there will be opportunity to socialise afterwards over a mince pie or two, accompanied with the odd glass of Mulled wine.

So let's remember the real meaning of Christmas and set the tone for a really joyful celebration this year.

The Anglican Church at Llanos del Peral ( past La Vida) invite you to join them for their advent services at 11am each Sunday. We would particularly like to draw your attention to our Crib and Nativity service on Sunday 13th December at 11am where we would be delighted to have any children with us.

The very popular Carol Service  on Tuesday 15th Dec will be followed with mulled wine mince pies or shortbread biscuits. Please put this date in your diary.

Collection boxes for the food bank at Zurgena are placed in Cats services Suzy's bar, the Zurgena Town Hall and of course the church and would welcome any donations on behalf of the very needy.  If possible in addition to basic non perishable foodstuffs some Christmas treats would be very welcome. A sincere thank you and Christmas blessings to you all.
