Thanks for the reply, that's very interesting. So I won't be juicing and consuming orange juice after eating seafood, but don't think this is what Pepe, my Spanish friend, meant. Throughout our conversation over this issue at no time did I pick up any reference he may have made to seafood and even my limited Spanish would have managed that, but I could be wrong???

I remain confused ??? ??? ???  (could be my age of course ;D)

My Spanish neighbour, whom I rate highly as a gardener, pointed to my Pomelo (Grapefruit), Lima (Lime) and Orange Trees, waved his arms around them and said "Veneno pasa fatal naranja".
My Spanish is not good enough to ask him to explain what he was trying to say and he does not speak one word of English. I have translated this to mean one of the following, Poison is fatal Orange, Venom becomes fatal orange or Poison spends fatal orange. He also said "Agua", so does he mean I need to spray them with something added to water to stop the fruit going sour???  Help!
