poinsettia

I have 2 in pots they have lost the leafs but still blooming and growing well.
I water the pits once aweek

I bought 2 poinsettias last week, one red and one pink. I have always had trouble with these but these two are losing their leaves already, the pink has lost nearly all the green leaves. The leaves go yellow and fall off. How often should I be watering them? Do they need to be kept warm and in how much sunlight? Please help, pink one dying fast......thankyou, Liz
