Hi
A possible solution would be dog cages for them to sleep in at night.

Most dogs are very reluctant to poop or wee on their beds, unless they have
tummy problems or very weak bladders.

Once they have become accustomed to them, they tend to settle well.

Another problem could be the dogs diet.
A lot of 'complete' diets are packed with wheat  soya and other cereals, which are virtually
undigestible in a dogs system, hence large amounts of waste are produced and the dogs digestion
is working overtime.

In general you get what you pay for with complete dog foods.

wonder if anyone can help , we have had dogs all our lives but never had this problem before.
We have 2 cocker spaniels (brothers now 2 years old) and yet ever morning we wake up to mess on the floor , we have to put paper down every single night.
We have tried changing there meal times, they go out for regular walks ,one just before bedtime, they normally bedded down for 8 hours, we are at a loss of what to do to stop the problem.
Any helpful ideas would be good.
