Hi. I'm needing a 4700uF 25 Volt Radial Electrolytic Capacitor for a stable DC supply system I'm building. The capacitor smooths the DC power-supply by removing any residual AC ripple, which is a left-over occurrence from rectification.
It's possible to locate one in the back of an old TV or perhaps a micro-wave oven, or almost any large capacity electrical item, so would consider picking up anything like these on the chance there may be a suitable capacitor on the circuit board.
Thanks.
