Although we had visited most of the places shown in the programme we still learned a lot. It is fascinating to realise how much the Moors have influenced our own culture - food, architecture, language etc. The early history of Cordoba, in particular, can teach us a lot today, in that, under Islamic law, all religions must be respected and the people of different faiths lived in harmony. It would be wonderful if that could happen again
A really good interesting programe, we too, like Sandra have visited most of the places shown, but it's surprising how much more you learn from shows like this when someone else has had access to others in the know, looking forward to the next two episodes.
