Title: Transferring MS docs to Apache open office
Post by: Janad20 on February 24, 2018, 14:27:33 PM
Can anyone help in informing me how I can change MS docs to Apache open office docs. I have looked it up on U TUBE, but when I follow their instructions, it does not work. Transferring my spreadsheet docs was easy but can't get my head round how to do the text docs.

Thanks in advance of any help

Jeff

The problem is mostly, you will not get the exact same doc. from OO to word, some features are just noch availible.
you can try to convert an odt. in doc online. there are some. (just don't know if it's working100%)
The other option, that I am using, convert your OO into pdf and than pdf open in MS Office. For me it works out.

Maybe it helps you a bit :)  ::)

I prefer to use this for spreadsheets and document files , compatible with MS docs etc . Uses same calculation formats on spreadsheets as Open Office so its works with both programs .
